Working Patterns of Production Crews

On average, during the year long period spanning 2004 and 2007, film production crew spent 10 to 12 weeks working on feature film and 5 to 7 weeks on another of production, e.g. television documentary .In addition it is common among this segment of the economy to spend time unemployed and seeking work and three quarters of the workforce had experience the same all year round.

The average working day on feature is longer than in the rest of the creative media industries, why because the quality and the experience of Actors and Actresses and even the technical crew sometime are unprofessional for this reason, The director will insist on making the best as he or she could, 6-9 hours a day and film production crew earn an average gross income which is higher than the rest of the creative media on average. As is the case across the rest of the  creative media industries men earn more than women all depending on a particular role given or individual contract signed, age is never a barrier rather your marketing rate is measured by the producer.
